Yearly Overview

The 'Better Sleep' Workshop - 2023

The Coaching Practice:

'We believe that as January is often looked on as a month of: 'New Beginnings' - where: individuals might often 'aspire' to the new', February is looked on with 'love' and anticipation for the year ahead ...

For those, who live in the Northern Hemisphere: the first day of March is also considered the first day of spring!

April 2023 (UK) became the month, that offered access to inclusive 'links-of-support', based on 'IBS' and 'Stress' awareness.

May 2023 (UK) became 'National' Month - where, many historical sites opened, ready for visitors to view and learn more about: Local History and  World Heritage.

June 2023 (UK) acknowledged 'Global Day for Parents'; 'World Milk Day';
'World Bicycle Day' and 'Sausage Roll Day' (there really was such a day: celebrating the Great British sausage roll [a 'delicacy'])!

July 2023 (UK) included 'sporting greats' - like:  'Wimbledon (2-weeks)'; the 'Women's FIFA World Cup' and the 'cricket'. Further afield, many celebrated: 'American Independence Day'; 'Canada Day'; 'World Chocolate Day'; 'International Joke Day'; Bastille Day' and even 'Global Tiger's Day'.

August 2023 (UK) 'The Coaching Practice' offered links to 'relaxation & calmness' - with:  'National Relaxation Day' as a focal point. This was also the month where 'Spain' won the 'Women's FIFA World Cup' in a narrow victory over 'England' - and: where national celebrations, in support of the famous 'British' delicacy known as the 'Rice Pudding', really were reality!

September 2023 (UK) highlighted several 'health awareness' days
(including) 'organ donation' week, alongside an 'appreciation of literature and literacy' skills. The 'Autumn Equinox' (Northern Hemisphere) and the 'Spring Equinox' (Southern Hemisphere) helped balance our equalibrium - whilst an appreciation of, 'Deaf Awareness: through 'sign', helped many to realise that 'linguistic skill'
can be attributed to all levels of 'language'. Then: the 'Worlds Water-ways' gained international levels of 'recognition' alongside a renewed appreciation of all
'Maritime Workers' ... and: 'Creative Therapy' gained new levels of understanding, within UK Care Homes. It also brought the: 'International Day of Peace'.

October 2023 (UK) started off with days based on 'wellness' (World Mental Health Day and 'Menopause Awareness', alongside links of 'health' and 'support'); 'understanding' (World Dyslexia Awareness Day); 'outer-limits' (World Space Week) and 'remembrance' (Black History Month) - alongside: the 'Rugby World Cup'. There was 'recognition' of the 'smile' and then a celebration of learning, by acknowledging all 'Teachers' (World Teacher's Day).

'World Opera Day' brought 'Arts & Culture' - and, 'International Archaeology Day', encouraged us to look back and learn from the past: as 'Recycle Week' promoted our considerations of the future.

 November 2023 (UK) encouraged us to 'give thanks' whilst also celebrating the memories  of the years and 'souls', gone by - and: our continued 'kindness to others' helped to support others less fortunate than ourselves, as well as, 'children in need'. The 'festival of light' ('Diwali') lit the night's sky, illuminating the 'trees' as they stood their ground.
